Hi guys, I am heading Swiss and Italy on sept. Just want to check with you guys on which location would be better to purchase watch with better discount and VAT.

I am keen on the following watches
Rolex Sub-Nodate
Pam392
Zenith Big Date Special

Not sure which brand is cheaper there.

Italy definite.
Never buy watches in swiss.
Most affordable I know so far is Tag Heuer. A quartz aquaracer for few hundreds.

Yes thats my concern. Its not like rolex where there is an RSC. Thinking of buying from jackroad or kamekichi while in japan unless local preowned shops carry one...

I think rolex is quite brilliant to have RSC do verifications. that's one of the reasons they can still maintain such good resale value despite being the luxury watch manufacturer with the largest production. gives buyers peace of mind...

Most SG dealers should be pretty legit when it comes to dealing with pams, it's the individual sellers that require a little more care.

I think italy could be cheaper, purely from what i hear. Final price is a function of the VAT refund, AD discount and fx rate (chf vs eur). Need bros with actual experience to comment

Ok I am trying hard to ignore all your poisoning but I found something which I hope I can get some answers here.

Jackroad is selling a G series Pam024 for ~7k sgd (after tax refund) compared to the I series from JW for ~ 5.5k after gst. Is there any special reason for the difference, esp when JW's is newer? Both are full sets.

On the jackroad's site it says it has tritium index. Is that why?

Non electrical source needed for lighting hence widely used.....

cause superluminova wasn't invented? but tritium is relatively safe but it's the factory that are exposed to it that's why they stopped production.
just read that why Panerai Radiomir is call Radiomir

tritium has a half life so once it's dead, it's gone. lol. superluminova uses light to re-charge, hence can last longer.
