Thanks many big kor kor here giving advice :D there's a saying that getting married is easy but staying married is not. The journey after marriage will be the real challenge. Not really sure what to expect but fingers crossed with communication, patience and love everything will be fine :)

Im not married myself but I would say, marriage is just a event. Being a wife, girlfriend, fiance or (yps would call it) stead, are just titles. What matters is that you enjoy each others company, being able to accept each others differences, taking turns to surprise each other and loving each other.

Seiko Quartz lot that need restoration

seiko+quartz.jpg

Another lot from the bags of watches, this time the three amigos...ahemm..quartz.:s13:

I particularly like the two boy size stainless steel watches, one a Citizen and the other a Seiko. They all come in the original metal straps....awesome. Depending on how much time and money I want to spend on restoring them. The first priority is to get them ticking again.

Anyway, will update on my blog once I have them restored for you guys to view them.

Have a good day.

What brands of watches do they sell at Wins@Bencoolen?
Do they sell Emporio Armani/Guess/Citizen Eco-drive watches?

Thx=)

They have a nice selection of Seiko and Citizen Eco Drive models. A smaller selection of Orients and a good selection of Casio G Shocks.

Not sure about Armani and Guess as i didn't pay attention to look out for those. But i do remember that even if WINS don't carry there is one or two more stores there that i vaguely remember do.

Ya boy... snoopy price is above $7k easily... :s22::s22:

Got the idea to mod after i saw a modded one in MBK, wanted to buy on the spot when quoted $3k... then the boss told me he modded the snoppy dial & caseback himself for fun...:s13:

So the prices there are relatively cheaper compared to other retailer in s.g?

Honestly i have no idea about Armani and Guess? But for Seiko, generally at Bencoolen you can get 30-35% off retail for local warranty sets, Citizen up to 25-30% for local warranty set. Orient i am not too sure as i have yet to purchase any from there.

Hi RWC - Regular Watch Collectors,

It has been a year since I last put up anything here. I was away busy with life and occasionally coming back to see how Singapore is doing...:D

I have collected bags of vintage watches over the whole year. Today, I will show you some beaten 1970s chunky models from Seiko, Bulova and Envoy. Especially a 1920s Omega Pocket watch that I bought in a weird and secluded place when I was on a project.....:s13:

The saying of "Who dares win" can be true when you find treasure.:s13:

Anyway, here are the watches which I need to have them restored.

I will update my blog soon for you guys to see what I have collected. Please give me some time as I might be away on another quest to seek more vintage watches...hhahahahha

The OMEGA pocket watch crystal appears in much better shape than the rest which I assume a regular glass crystals. Any vintage watches with sapphire crystal to show how well sapphire weathers through the years?
