embed pics for you.

are the chronopushers screw-locked?

The chronopushers are screwlocked while the crown is screwdown. The thickness of the watch is ard 15mm. I choose the oem black strap instead of the brown. I would say the leather is soft and does not need too much time to break in. There are claims on watchuseek that the oem brown strap is of a lower quality than the black strap.

Great looking watch! Does the PVD last well? I'm apprehensive about PVD cause I'm quite rough. My watches have scratches all over.

I cannot see any visible scratches so far. I think the main reasons would be I wear the watch only on weekends and I am quite careful with my watch when I am wearing it.

To add on, I think the pvd on the magrette is of high quality. I had a Casio pvd edifice series watches last year. It accumulates scratches very easily. So far the magrette's pvd coating is holding up quite well.

friend,
I have resisted replying to you and even deleted some of my sarcastic posts. Honestly quite a lot of us have added you to the ignore list. After some thoughts I think someone has to tell you the cold hard truth, and I will put it as amicably as possible.

The issue here is not with the brand, but the attitude.

Your first post here was of a fake (i don't glorify fakes with the word replica), and when paladium called your bluff, your tone to ask him to support his claims suggests you were trying your luck. Don't deny it - any thinking human here can tell. When your luck ran out, you flipped prata and started a tirade of "eagle eye spotting games", not to mention all the "took it for a virgin ride" blah blah blah.

Why not just come clean with it and say it's a fake from the very first post? That'll command more respect than prata flipping. Then with some CSI you got exposed as a 22 yr old chap. I guess the reason you're doing all these is simply because you're still young.

I think generally we welcome anybody here, and I would also like to extend this welcome to you too (not like I'm some big shot here or what); but please do not post fakes AND try to pass them off as genuine.

People can buy fakes for all reasons - to try the size, just for the heck of it, whatever rocks his/her boat; but to try passing it off as the real thing doesn't say very good things about a person.

As for cheap watches, I believe we have more respect for someone who enjoys and loves his cheap watches than someone who tries to fake it with a fake.

From your other posts on HWZ it seems you are going through a rough patch. I wish you all the best and emerge stronger from it. I'm older than you and have probably experienced worse and more things in life. Just don't give up, and face life with a positive attitude. It will change for the better.

With that, may I suggest we put the incident behind us and move on :) really don't want to spoil the wonderful dynamics on this thread.

Godspeed all! :D

(You can come hold my hand too ;) but not with the fake watch hor hahahaha)

i will boycott him everyday if he continues showing off his fake IWC here and saying things like this is not your average fake watch on the street.

a fake is a fake, how many A's also no use

if you dont respect yourself fine, at least respect others coming here to look at genuine watches

cant afford one so be it, work hard for one

No matter how you sugarcoat your reason(s) for wearing a "replica", you'll never be able to deceive yourself eventually.

Rather than being looked upon by others with low dignity, I think you're better off working hard to save up for that coveted final destination. At least you can be proud of owning something that's genuinely yours at the end of the day :)

PS: Even AAA Replicas cost quite a bit so perhaps by not buying them, you're closer to your goal in all honesty :)

I agree with Yatto. He's still young, and people make decisions that may not be the best, for reasons that we do not know. He may have had a hard time growing up and been through things that we can't imagine that led him to have a certain thought process that society generally frowns upon.

No need to be overly harsh in our responses. We speak our minds. If he doesn't want to agree or choose to grow as a person, we simply ignore. No need to keep feeding negativity. There are better things to do in life.

After all, we're just talking watches. Not the most important thing in the world.
