I find Pam 048 abit too thick. Did your wife try the watch on her wrist?
I saw a guy with an exact same Patek the other day at Suntec, there was some kid show ( precious thoughts I think ) and parents including me were bringing our kids on stage to take photos. His kid was like 4 years, and he was about 168 ht build, sporting a suave hair style...

Nope but we did a lot of research online with similar sized wristsand let her try my 41mm Tag Carrera which houses the similar 7750 movement and same thickness at 15.5mm . She said ok ah and we think it needs getting used to. I had similar experience with the Carrera, now used to it. Anyway I thought this thickness is pretty much on the lower end already...
$8k for pam 48 is chop carrot price, IMHO
jialat... Yah that's why I keep asking her if sure of not. But back on my mind pay $8k+ for a standard eta driven automatic is making me hesitate. Have I been brainwashed by the pro in-house movement propaganda??

Well, ordered already $8200. Retail is $9800. This is the few 40mm PAMs left we can find, and for wifey thin wrists. And it's actually a top/ chronometer grade 7750 that is striped and modified by Panerai to COSC specifications. Good thing is easy to service in future, also comes with a deployant. Looks like Panerai smallest sizes in future would be 42mm. Quite hard to find now from what I gather.

Oh, you managed to find NOS? I guess that's worth the premium then...
I would otherwise use chrono24 as a proxy to find the expected price of a watch:

This photo reminds me of last time when phones were just equipped with VGA cameras
Yah I checked chrono and past swx posts. Not NOS (New Old Stock?) but BNIB latest (this year, maybe the last?) Q series that will come with 2 year warranty so it's about this price. Also i got from this grey dealer before , like his service and can't be bothered do all the homework again. I will never buy from an overseas grey dealer unless it's a close friend. If anyone don't mind pre-own, should go for a LNIB piece.
To all other pals, suddenly the black dial Rolex sky dweller actually caught my eye as a Rolex I can buy and wear as well, I'm really not a Rolex person

Hi, just curious, how big is your wrist? I'm interested in getting a BB as well, but worried too small on my 6" wrist. I tried it at the shop and it looks okay but I'm not too sure. Looks just nice in yours.![]()
Saw the nice reflection and decided to take shot!
You can get it from grey for below 11k. However you will need to pay deposit and wait for around 4 weeks. AD like hourglass should be able to get 11.6-8k. No deposit needed and may need to wait for 2 weeks I think. All this is from my friends exp who bought it like 3-4 months ago. I did check the price when I bought mine in HK last month. It's still the same
