To all chronograph users, do you all use it often or not at all? Thinking of getting one with chrono but don't even think I'd use it at all lol

I would think that in this day and age, most people would buy chronograph watches only for the look. Go for it if u like it.

From the seikos and citizens that I can see at city chain shops, the busier-the-better chrono dial look still seems to be going strong!

Of course, the chronograph should work wonderfully if u intend to use it, though i suspect u would get a more accurate and clear timing off your smart phone.

I think the majority of chronograph owners would rarely touch the feature except once in awhile just for admiration purposes. After all, your phone probably has a better stopwatch. I would say get a chrono only if you genuinely like the look of it or have an admiration for the complication involved in the movement

I was thinking it's a waste of money if I bought a chrono watch but do not use it at all. Maybe something like a day date or month complication will suit me better since I use it or as you all say, a smartphone tells everything now.

watch appreciation goes beyond the functions. if it's mainly functions, then go for those digital or smartwatches.

i don't even bother with my day, date or whatever. just use it for time.

Yeah, maybe SG market is a bit different, but walking around CBD it's definitely not the hipsters and ad agency people who are wearing pams.

just generalisations. i owned a few JLC's before but i think i fit the Panerai description more. and i've never owned any panerai. don't intend to also.
