Thanks guys for the help. Shall read up on Cape cloth, Toothpaste and Polywatch. Just that I scared the more I do the worse it gets hahahaha.

toothpaste used to be the riskless quickfix until they started putting in polishing agents for whitening.

i use this for the entire watch:

found at one of the cheap HDB hardware shop.

note that this is specifically for polishing gold and silver (NOT chrome, aluminum etc.)

Polywatch works well on acrylic
At least on my vintage ones

Can vouch for poly watch...amazing stuff..worked wonders on my speedmaster acrylic crystal...only thing that kept me sane..

But it doesn't work on deep scratches

Hmm okay, which puts it slightly lower price range compared to watches with the 775x series of movements from lower tier brands. Wish Seiko would make one and price it below 2k

I think the NE88 movement is a rebranded 8R28 movement which is currently used in Seikos retail for 2k or more? Like the Ananta or Velatura series

if its <SGD 1K i think theres a market for it.. its a chrono afterall so can charge more :)

any idea if it hacks and are there any special precautions when changing the date ?

Yup yup hacking IIRC, but at around 1k you could easily get Swiss chronos from Hamilton etc so its a pretty tough fight I think!

elshan, will you be unveiling premium zelos pieces with better build quality?
something that is better than azimuth..

Definitely aiming to improve but won't be in the range of Azimuth for sure, still trying to keep everything below the 1k pricetag :) Don't really have the funds for the whole Swiss made thing with all the pricey marketing to sell something in the thousands. Could be a million dollars or so for such startup funding, way outta my league :s22:

hi, anyone knows the price to repair an ETA movement watch (stowa flieger) in Singapore? any good independent watchmaker.
Stowa quote me a ridiculous price even though I have warranty

Can check with gnomon watches. Their website quoted $150.
