E more expensive resorts seldom offer full or half board, since e point is for you to spend and spend :o as for me, I brought along tidbits and cup noodles to settle lunch and snacks. For dinner, we chose to indulge ourself in the restaurants since we came this far, might as well enjoy.

If I have to choose 3 resorts it would be either Conrad, W resorts or the Baros. But they are way out of e budget :s22:

MHO is unless u are really rich and can afford to go (and enjoy) Maldives multiple times, otherwise go only with the right person for the right occasion and with an extremely liberal budget, as it is one of those 'once in a lifetime' holiday spot. If I may use another location as a similar example, that would be Venice.

You really want to be just enjoying every moment with your loved one, and not counting pennies or keep having a 'bang for buck' mentality during the stay (save that for your holiday planning stage and discard it the moment u disembarked at Male).

conrad and W almost 2k sgd per night for overwater :s13:

Cichlid's photos need to come with R21 ratings as they are simply watch porn (pardon the pun) causing unhealthy attraction to the object of desire.. MMmmmmm...

Yeap agree, there are places where u can save and there are others where u have to splurge and maldives is one of them

Still everyone has a budget to keep to :o
