Hey guys, what brands would be recommended for a 18 year old?

don't think brands would be the best way to go - there are just too many genres within a brand.

perhaps go by lifestyle or by functional need. E.g. are you into watersports (divers) or just sporty (chronos, pilots), maybe into formal (slim profile three handers), or looking for funky or less ordinary (square watches, antique/vintage style) etc.

I have a Seiko sport for the weekends and a Longines dress watch for special occasions.

Was looking at the Seamaster, Pelagos and Big Bang/Classic Fusion.

Tried the Classic Fusion yesterday, strap felt real good.

Looking to purchase this year end.

Preferably something that is evergreen

Want the look to last for years

Timeless I guess

I would not categorise anything from hublot as an evergreen. IMHO, they are 1st and foremost an APROO copy before anything else.

None of the above unfortunately

Just want something that fits an entrepreneur I guess

With poor workmanship some more. The screws aren't even aligned like those on an APRO.
Or is that a way to authenticate the watch?

1.8 thereabouts after discount, cash
That's what told to me when I asked many months ago

good choice on BALL eternity.

You can visit a few 2nd hand watch shops in Singapore, like in Bencoolen, Golden Landmark and Far East. Sometimes you may come across a BNIB BALL watch which is selling at 30% lower than AD

thats the way! water action shots :s12: (not recommended for vintages though)

edit: just noticed this is a "4 line white sub" - does it come with the engraved rehaut?

Yes. It comes with the engraved rehaut. No water action, just a leisure swim.
