Buy the 3570.50 while you still can as it's discon. They are launching a new model with new bracelets that uses screws instead of pins and new box with some straps and a loupe etc. new model cost almost 1k more.

I have a question. Pam 000 PR is only 56 hours.. Every two days wind once is not healthy for the crown i read. If that is the case how to let it be a beater?

Guess i shld let my 510 8 days PR be daily beater and use only 000 for other occasion?

Also $6k for pam 000 is Q series....
Extra $500 more i get brand new. Then why would i want save $500 for a preowned? Maybe U can enlighten me?

Handwind movements normally have sturdier stems.

The ETA movement in the 000 was originally designed for a pocket watch, should be plenty hardy plus easy to service if you have problems. PR doesn't have much to do with how long the winding stem lasts, IMHO. The 8 days movement has more barrels and each full wind take a lot more "turns" than for a 000. I would wager that the number of turns per day of PR is about the same for a 000 and the 8 days.
