Went to see see look look at vintages during the weekends. Suddenly have the feeling for them, prob cuz they are smaller for my small wrist and have a story behind it.

Ermmm... Actually the clasp is staimless steel. The bracelet and the rest is titanium. Wait till u see how condition of my clasp. Haha. Very bad.

New vs old. 8 months of use.

The worst scratches are on the clasp as a result of a fall. Solid construction though.

Modified cost only a 3570 moonwatch + snoopy dial swap

My pelagos is also on a similar scratch-damage. Only about 4 months old

But I must say the bezel and glass is top notch in scratch resistance. Nothing so far. Touchwood.

ceramic and sapphire are way higher on the mohs scale compared to titanium

well, its a tool watch anyways. battle scars are ok. just send in for overhaul after a few years.

watches are meant to be worn and scratched. Even my expensive watch get beat up. Should really stick to the timex though for real abuse

My understanding of the Pelagos is that it has Ti bracelet but SS clasp. (IIRC got engraving of Ti and SS inside the clasp) tio bo?

So the SS and Ti parts absorb scratches at the same intensity? interesting..

clasp takes the brunt of the beatings

my clasp already got desk swirls after 1 day of wear to work lol

The bracelet doesn't look stock. From yobokies too? What's your reason for changing anyway?

if not wrong the pin is actually 2 pieces. One of it is permantly struck on the clasp, the other side can be unscrew using a small screwdriver.

Honestly I have no idea. but the clasps does take quite a beating. Some fine scratches on the bracelet too.

I'm the epitome of a Pelagos - plain, stark, beaten but ticking.
