right and all along i thought it only with red accents. i have the the orignal mark II, some of hands and hour markers are orange - so you've got me wondering if these were originally red but faded, or orange all along.

very few watches retain value ...but for Louis Erard there's only upside I feel. Comparable to Tissot in quality, real effort in detailing, if they can grow their business i'm sure prices will go up (given they are priced for value now).

Recently got a blue alligator strap and mounted it on my B&R...

Was admiring it and it struck me whether the color combi was weird, ie blue strap with black dial...

Coz I see is other watches is usually blue strap on white or blue dial.....or the vice versa - blue dial black strap...

New vs old. 8 months of use.

The worst scratches are on the clasp as a result of a fall. Solid construction though.

That's some brutal scratches on the bracelet after 8 months.

They say titanium picks up scratches more easily compared to stainless steel

They say titanium picks up scratches more easily compared to stainless steel

light scratches because of a layer of oxidation. but it kinda heals a bit after some more wearing. on the plus side its harder to put in a deep scratch into titanium compared to steel. guess we need to 10-20 years from now to be sure, if the corners and edges stay sharp compared to steel.

as easy as it picks up light scratches, you can easily brush it off yourself as well with green scouring pad, an emery board etc.
