^ a picture paints a thousand words. here are more than a thousand images: https://www.google.com.sg/search?q=...k8AWJgYKIAw&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1266&bih=1284

so many options, really depends on your style: modern vs vintage, dressy vs casual, neat vs funky :s12:

Where to find rubber strap for my Seiko? Think it's a bit hard. No? I prefer bling bling straps lol :(

Finally collected my watch today..... known already as the finest chrono movement in the world, here another perpetual calendar is added in for a total of 556 parts hand assembled, also stres and abuse tested.

This rare white gold piece is in production for only 2 years, I'm pretty lucky to catch this old stock brand new watch.

share my joy, the movement is breath taking.

Maybe pre-owned, not for new for your two suggested.

The 40 month instalment has been running for a while. UOB is 36 months. But just my 2 cents, if you need 40 months to get a $3.5K watch...please don't. You should buy within your means :)

If you pay cash in full, sometimes the AD can shave off a couple more dollars. Good luck

thank you for your insight bro.
If I can spread the bill across 40 mths that accounts to 100 per month so I wouldn't even feel a pinch. that's how I feel and is mainly the reason why so many peeps are taking up the IPPs.

If one-time payment, I would consider using manhattan card to shave off $150 (unless the shopkeeper can give me better rates).

any brand that I can get a new piece for my budget?

Bro, I disagree cos it's interest free.

If stretch out even longer it's even better.

Pre-owned for Omega is possible with your budget...

Entry level for Panerai will cost around $6k from grey dealers.. and cash payment in full only...

Of course, the choice ultimately is yours. I did not mean any malicious intent :)

As for brands, for 3K - Longines, TAG, Ball within good reach

Not a strong finance person, but by paying thru instalments, u effectively pay "lesser" as a result of time value of money? :s11:

If you are financially sounded for the next 4 years then go for it! Mai Tu liao.

otherwise, offer to pay cash in full. They might be able to offer you more perks compared to credit cards.

I got my Tudor Daydate from a 2nd hand watch shop. Paid in cash and the shop owner was nice enough to give me a further 25% discount. Final damage: $2200. Original price was around $2600

True but usually using such plans will render lower discounts, so unless you have better use for your $ that can yield higher returns than the discount foregone, it's not necessarily a better deal.

Well... Interest free if you never miss a single payment.

Always look out for clause such as "Penalties for late payments" and the "Interest-on-interest"

Usually the amount is very steep
