good thing for you is the internet.

i had a few throw away fashion watches that I regret as they all stopped working. and a couple of non descript seiko quartz.

if i had to do it all over again today I'd start with a bambino ($200), sumo ($500) and work myself up. all within reach, and bound to be collector classics in the future. best of all watches that will be able to last for my kids to see.

im contemplating to get a bambino, but unsure which case material i should get

yea or nay, this leather strap on my MM300??

as long it doesn't flop like a b!tch. MM300 is very top heavy

the ring at 6 o'clock may scuff the lugs if you are concerned about such stuff

That's true and now I'm very proud to own a TAG in which I was longing for since a teenager.

nice basic, still miles better than the tacky plasticky looking TAG F1 series

when the 500 aquaracer came out was jin scared that they discontinue this model.

with the retro reissues still going strong across brands, hope to see the one done for the Super Pro 1000m

I only have one Seiko which is the Criteria SNDC63P01 quartz chrono which I got it at a bargain in M'sia, then was only $353 after discount compared to $420 here after discount, original price was $555.

Used to crave for a 1000m Tuna, but the price really put me off, costs more than my Aquaracer.

Didn't like the F1 series in the first place and picked only the Aquaracer series as I'm a fan of dive watches. The Super Pro 1000m, hopefully some day they would bring it back to 'life'.

Then priorities should be gathering life's necessities.. If have to recover with all these commitments then stuffs like watches etc... It's not time yet ...

I'm in another stage of life and will consider myself financially blessed. my principle that these hobbies are things that should never affect your lifestyle but rather enhance it

Totally agree. For me, my main focus is on my upcoming home+reno. This is definitely one major money burner.

That is why many watch owners here never agree to credit card instalments to own a luxury watch.

those cc instalment plans are more for people who have plenty of disposable cash to leverage upon.

There are quite a number of variations:

STYLE 41mm
- 12700 SS and Leather
- 12703 SS TT Gold and 3 pt diamond

STYLE 38mm
- 12500 leather
- 12503 SS TT Gold

STYLE 34mm
- 12300 SS
- 12303 Leather with SS +18K gold bezel

STYLE 28mm
- 12100 SS or Leather
- 12103 SS TT Gold and 3 pt diamond

At AD, 28mm lowest is around $3000. 41mm is around $4.5K
