Talking about syncing with phone,

maybe i do a quick poll on how many here considering a 'SMART'watch ?

Im more than 60% already

Main thing holding me back is the thought of having another gadget to
charge

I have a Pebble Steel (sold my Pebble watch) and a Casio G-Shock BT watch.

The Pebble runs fine for about 5-6 days a charge. The G-Shock is supposed to last 2 years with a battery change.

Perlon One Piece Plaited Nylon Watch Strap Black 22mm Stainless Steel Buckle | eBay

Quality almost the same as Eulit, good and a little stiff, but very comfortable on the wrist.
Buckle is significantly bigger on the 22mm version, almost 27mm wide and more squarish looking, as compared to the more common 20mm.

Have 2pcs, a blue and a yellow mako.

Never seen a yellow in the flesh before though.

The current battery life of a smart watch is the deal breaker.

Unless the watch can last about 5 or more days, else it's another device to charge daily. Imagine connecting a wire from your power bank to your watch on the move.

That's pretty cool!

Some people find it redundant. But it helps me reduce my missed calls.

If you are one of those who always leaves your phone behind, it does vibrates once the BT signal disconnects.

Are ETA movements frowned upon? I'm interested in a Tudor and it seems like they do not have in-house movement, i.e. using modified ETA movement.

Hope the future smart watch have at least some degree of waterproofness.

Not sure about others. Pebble is rated 50m WR. No problem with splashes and a simple swim. G-Shock is 200m WR.

The scratch isn't that obvious under the normal viewing conditions...

it's not a crystal scratch right, it's the bezel from 3 to 6 o clock?

Thickness is definitely thinner than a normal 1mm thick Nato. Don't have a vernier caliper so I'm not sure about the exact thickness.

I've only got it for a few days, but so far there's no stretching. Washed it once and it seems to hold up fine too.

The heaviest diver I have and tried on was a stainless steel Seiko Samurai, and it was perfectly secure and comfortable for me.

Overall, I think it's worth the purchase, around SGD18 and 1 week of shipping time from Europe.
Besides, it's the only place I've seen that has 22mm so might as well get one before it's out of stock

edit: love the engraved not-ceramic bezel, and the drilled lug holes. proper tool watch that! what does the backcase look like, does it come with a matching buckle? how about another shot of the crowns - and what are the additional buttons for?

just ordered one too, trust me 22mm perlon are hard to find

Thanks bro. I love it too. Unfortunately don't wear it as much since I just got my IWC 3777.

I got new straps from K2 as the original aren't very comfortable.

Have a look at the original straps.

At 46mm, they don't make them like this anymore.

Oh and the back case.
