Was at watch shop to get a watch bracelet extended

After that was done, browsed for new watch

Looked at a few wand sales executive was prompt to offer some discount

Highlighted the fact that as returned customers, can give further discount?

She promptly offered that it's possible and asked for payment mode

If pay cash, pay 2% less

If need credit, they have 40 months installment option

That's like mor than 3 years

Why would anyone want to spent more than 3 years to pay off a watch which is not even a necessity?

A watch is just a tiny item, not worth so much if one cannot afford it

the date looks odd on the SARX027
i guess have to see the real watches before deciding, as of now currently leaning towards SARD007

btw the SBDX012 should be 1000 pieces only according to some forums.

Are ETA movements frowned upon? I'm interested in a Tudor and it seems like they do not have in-house movement, i.e. using modified ETA movement.

yes its frowned upon by some. (not me).personally i haven't found a movement that pleases everyone.

what is your concern about off the shelf movements? or why are you attracted to in-house movements?
