Guys, I might be heading to Italy for work and was wondering if it's advisable to purchase Swiss watches from there..?

Assuming i can claim VAT?

Good advice by coern.
It's only cheaper if you claim the VAT, otherwise taking into account the retail price after conversion to sgd, it's about the same price (depending on exchange rate) as what you would pay at the Panerai boutique in SG. (Using price of 510 as a benchmark)
The processing fee is about 1% of the refund amount, if I recall correctly.
There are different VAT refund companies in Spain, have to make sure you go to the correct one especially if you intend to do the VAT refund in the airport.

Thanks bro. I have a small wrist of 6". PAM Luminor size looks ok on my wrist. But for 1950 case, the 44mm look so much bigger, i can't carry it :(

I actually going Italy and Swiss soon. But i checked the price there, it is cheaper than our local AD, but not cheaper than Grey. So trying to see what is the best price i can get.

There's rose gold, white gold and yellow gold version. I think it retails for 13k UsD. Since it's a popular LE it's definitely difficult to get 1 outside japan.

Yeap, I managed to touch e snowflake before I made e decision to go gray. I too didn't want to take e leap of faith without knowing what I'm buying :)

Agree on the Luminor and 1950 case.
I can wear the 44mm Luminor as used to own 118F and 57C.
But when I tried the current models with 1950 case, the case thickness can be too much.
I've 6.5" wrist btw
