Hi all,

I see a lot of nice watches here! I am curious about one thing... How do you guys decide how much you will spend as a limit for watches? As a multiple or percentage of pay? Or just whack first then talk? Or buy one, sell it and buy another one?

I personally find it hard to spend more than 15k for a watch though I lust after some pretty pricey ones. I can afford them but I just can't wrap my head around spending so much. Haha!

i would look at the watch as a whole (design, dial, hands, bracelet/strap etc..) before deciding

That's why the are Shooooo many watch brands...

Each and every one of them targeting different groups.

Buying a luxury watch or dream watch is not like savings, whereby it is recommended you save X% of your monthly salary.

Most here buy to signify certain achievements or Milestones.
While others like Iceflight dai dai kor who can afford to spend on watches, buy complicated watches because of the technology, the workmanship or the history.

But there is one common Rule of thumb here:
Never go installment If you can't afford the watch right now.
