From other thread, some mentioned the price not worth the material and buying other brand is more worth it.

The part im most concern is the durable of the product though.

G shock most durable. ;)

Jokes aside, I think as long as you are not too rough on it, these watches should run fine. These are not some china fake stuff where u have to worry about glass popping out or screw coming loose under normal circumstances.

Beside, there is a healthy after sale process for them so you should rest assure.

Budget around $700 +/-, leather strap, Looking more on design rather than brand, Mech preferred but quartz is fine.

The Solvil et Titus watch i was looking at, the design look like this. Rose Gold outer circular frame, needle, roman number and brown leather strap.

There are many fashion brands which are popular for Couple watches:

- G Shock + Baby G
- Seiko
- Citizen
- F.C.U.K.
- Marc by Marc Jacobs
- GUESS watches
- NIXON
- 25 Hours
- Adidas
- PUMA
- NIKE

One thing to take note about watches in Rose Gold or Gold at this price point...
The Gold or Rose Gold is very, very, very thin layer over the stainless steel casing. Most are plated or painted on. That means the watch cannot come into contact with liquid like:
- Perfume
- Sweat
- Chemical
- Chlorine-based water
Because these liquid will erode the Rose Gold or Gold colour and reveal the polished stainless steel colour beneath it.

But of course, don't presume that it will last forever if you do your best to avoid all these liquid. The colour will still fade away or erode naturally over time...

secondly, durability depends on the user. its just like manufacturers keep saying that Gorilla Glass is SUPER DUPER ULTRA DURABLE. But it still will crack under certain conditions...

Just bought an orient rainbow disc for my gf as birthday present and decided to change the strap to something more colorful and feminine as the watch comes with metal bracelet. Then soon bian change my watch strap for my legend diver. Bought from gnomon watches. $40 each.

The postwoman just delivered the Hirsch Robby straps that I ordered on 2 Oct from eBay.

Photo%2014-10-14%203%2037%2035%20pm.jpg

the straps adjustment hole is slightly tighter than my previous Hirsch straps, which is more suitable for my small wrist. I was using the last adjustment hole on my previous straps and it was still a little loose.

Didn't smell of any leather, hence unsure whether it is full sailcloth or half sailcloth half leather as mentioned by another user.

Hopefully, the grooves on the straps' back will keep my wrists from sweating too much.

I don't own a Titus but would have no issue getting one if I find one that I like. As mentioned by someone earlier, if you treat the watch properly (not like go field camp) it'll probably last. This applies to all watches even luxury brands. I've seen the sapphire of a Rolex shatter before because the owner accidentally hit it against a wall. Must have been a really hard knock

What do you guys think of this?

I was on the wait list and was offered SGD1300 for it. Should I take up the offer? Still studying right now, so I'm not sure if it is appropriate for me. The main mental block is the thought of parting with 1k+.

China watch? But looks damn good. If u like the design and the mechanics of it then why not? Watch wear almost forever anyways.

Not worth it in my opinion. That's a Celadon by a WUS member, Not a tourbillon - basically a Beijing watch company SB18 movement with a Beijing watch company case similar to a beihai but with different dial and handset. The movement is more decorated than the normal one I think but the price is insane. I would rather pay 500 from a Beijing beihai than 1.3k for this Celadon which essentially is a Beijing watch?

WUS project right? It's a tourbillion if I am not wrong.
WUS project usually very good stuff

nay, 1.3k seems bit much for a china watch. lugs reminds me of pp though.

That's a Maison Celedon Imperial. It does indeed have a Chinese heart but it's not your normal Chinese watch. The WUS thread below is a very detailed review of it.

Celadon Imperial Impressions

My colleague wears this and the cream paper dial is stunning with the blue hands in real life.

Thinking of getting the seiko SNZF17K1 sea urchin. Anyone knows how much does it cost at k2 for example? Does he also have other models in stock or usually must order?
