I use a pocket knife wrapped with plastic to pry the bezel off. It is easily done and don't be too afraid of scratching the watch, it is a tool watch after all and scratches are normal, as long as it is not a major knock / ding. :)

the pan europ series are the best from hamilton. and these latest ones with the 80hr power reserve are even more appealing at that price point.

i like the chrono blue versions best, the extra dials bring out the motoringsportiness that harkens back to the 60's-70's era that it references. (seiko sports chrono's glory days too).
