this ****el rotary engine very interesting. wonders if it is also as unreliable as those found in the FEs? LOL

tag heuer doesn't get enough respect for the innovations they have in movements.

swatch is running this brand poorly - i feel they should drop their cheap fashion lines and just focus on heuer historicals and new auto inspired movements

i was using that last picture to reinforce the idea that tag heuer should be focusing on the auto racing concept, as a natural progression from their heuer racing range.

the v4 monaco for instance was designed to emulate a car engine with bearings, belts etc...

i think designing the rotary "w a n k e l engine" inspired movement is actually is fun, like the ulysee nardin "freak".

Should be easier than their mikrotimer flying 1000 chrono..the former is about geometry, the latter brings analog to digital territory withy 1/1000th of a second accuracy.

so much nice tech and heritage in tag heuer, such a pity to see them just go after the fashion crowd.

TAG is under LVMH not Swatch though and IMO that's why it's not running well in terms of watch making, but in terms of profit, it's still doing very well.

hi everyone, wondering if anyone could provide me some of their view on the selection of watch i am looking at. I am considering the Rolex Green submariner or the GMT2 blue-black bezel. any thoughts on either of them? TIA
