Cool. JLC remains the rarer brand in watch sightings. To me that holds great quiet appeal, especially it being such a strong brand as a true manufacturer. A WIS watch.

If I ever feel rich again to get another watch JLC would likely be it. Different from the common attention arresting Rollies and APs and even beginning to be so for Pams.
JLC watches are under appreciated in SG I think, like Zenith they manufacture very good and highly respected movements...and they are reasonably priced, but I don't spot many in the wild. Most of the watches I see around the area I work are Rolex, AP, Omega, Panerai and occasional PP.

Would love to pick up a JLC slim moonphase or reverso, but the thought of how much $$ will be lost if I choose to sell one day is so far deterring me...

JLC not for the flippers. U dont see the popular models on the pre-owned market very much.

that's very true. hard to spot JLC in Singapore.
I still love the JLC master control. Clean design. Perfect for formal events in suit.

Master compressor world chrono is also grail

yeah agree but i think they have too many models/variations making it very hard to follow. and unfortunately rectangular watches remain more popular in europe; in asia its a more in your face taste.

Hey I have both a JLC and a Zenith (with an EP movement, o course). I guess I don't spend enough time "in the wild".:s13:
Don't buy a watch with an eye on potentially selling it sometime down the road. Buy it because you want it.
