How about the white face ah?

not sure abt THG cos i didnt ask. the cellini series not displayed in the case. the store manager actually brought it out from their store. but i also went Dickson opp taka. They got 3 models for this cellini series. got white face. but didnt take note of which model. could have got from the dickson but i didnt cos the salesman a bit stuck up.

THG also gave me a 8 watch storage box.

i know some of u guys not really receptive of homages and got some diehard panerai fans, but i find this strangely alluring even though i'm not a fan of panerais...

looks like a typical/regular homage just from a pic - but what is the movement/material like?

sinkie got alot of watch designers now. the grandaddy of all i believe is sandoz singapore which licenses the brand. then there is zelos one of the newest. and a number of "owned in singapore" but made in swiss too

Very nice, clean dial.

My only gripe with the design is the colour of the GMT hand. It's a bit hard to discern the GMT hand from the Minute hand. But then again, the watch looks fabulous

Ok the story was I tried a 116520 but didn't like it. Then quite sad lor. Then just anyhow tried this one and both the missus and I liked it a lot. Bought it on the spot.

In my encounters with daytonas in the wild, they look real good up close like in the photos. But several feet away it loses much of its wow, doesn't differentiate itself from a normal 40mm round metal watch.
