anyone know where can i find older discontinued Seiko watches in s'pore? particularly this 2 model: Seiko SARB029 and Seiko SARB031

If the GS comes with display back, I guess not too difficult to take a peek at the movement.
For closed case back models that's another story. Your best bet is to check with thong sia if they provide such service.

P.S I have not seen a replica GS. either they are difficult to produce a good fake (GS has superb finishing to me) or no one think it is feasible to replicate something which is by far less appealing to the mass market.

Demand is low compared to your tag or rolex
They just up production to sell overseas.
Things like credor seiko just don't make enough even for the domestic market.

Much like usa Germain robin fine cognac, only usd$60 but performed better than the famous Cordon Bleu which goes over over usd$100 easy.
Small demand and little marketing, the apple xo only 300+ made a yr only usd$100 sweet deal for customer to go out of the norm

Thanks for sharing ! I am actually looking at IWC Pilot Mark XVII. Yup, I am actually attracted to their design but was thinking if it's all about design.

Comparing between IWC Pilot Mark XVII and Omega Speedmaster Professional, I guess there will be more votes for Speedmaster anytime? :look:

I've got some questions about Speedmaster too. Seems like there are alot of variations out there. Are there any distinctive differences between them? I am actually also looking at Speedmaster under 42mm with transparent caseback (love to see the details inside the watch :p).
