Because the BLUMO will be lonely ...

Seiko JDM Sumos are so awesome, they should always be owned in pairs.

Welcome Black Sumo to the family, Seiko JDM Divers rock :)

FWAH.... POISON ALERT.

Any chances of buying one but not paying astronomical prices for this Anniversary edition?

Passed by Bigtime just now to take a look again at the MM300, with an intent to hoot initially.

In my opinion, to be utterly honesty, I feel that the Sumos look much more refined than the Marinemaster 300 when placed side by side. When considering the Shogun instead, found the hour hand too short and monster-ish for my liking.

In the end, I settled for my 2nd Sumo (black this time round) and I can't be happier with my decision and the consequent "positive impact" on my wallet :)

Having owned the SubC, PO XL and PAM 321, my view is that the hour hand on the MM300 dial is too overwhelming (i.e. too huge), the watch too round in feel and the bezel inserts too yellowish in reality. On a personal level, I found more reasons not to buy than to buy and hence, gave the watch a miss eventually :)

good summary of the differences between the sumo, shogun and MM300. (but is it too much to ask for...oh nevermind :) )

amazing isn't it that a manufactory (in house movement) can provide so much choice within a limited and affordable price range. moreover with the quality that is equal to more expensive brands.

and no doubt about it, the sumo is a lot of value for the money.
