Yes... prices has already gone up, capitalizing on the last stocks before the more expensive new ones.

Hi again to the people here....... I've really slaked my watch hooting thirst, unfortunately none of what I got is for myself. Then while I was mulling over a watch I really wanted, just as I gave the SA a call this afternoon, it's sold!!!!

Having purchased the JDM models from a couple of reliable brick-and-motar stores, your best bet in Singapore should be BIGTIME followed by SKYWATCHES. K2's Mr Goh is related to Bigtime (brother of Bigtime's owner if memory serves me correctly), but I think Mr Goh's retail variety is somewhat limited.

Bigtime is still your best bet for the watch. The sales folks at Bigtime seem more professional than Skywatches'. Like I mentioned previously, the Sing dollar has weakened considerably against the YEN, so chances are buying now before the existing stocks run out will prevent price disappointment going forward.

Poor Man's Swiss-Made GMT watch ...

You can hardly go wrong with a Steinhart or a Seiko for those with pocket depth challenges. Well, at least it works for me :)

the 233 is indeed one of the must-haves for any pam aficionados. great 8 days linear PR with second time zone, 24-hour indicator and a date window@3. love that domed sapphire too! :D

Anyone knows how much and where to get a Seiko SRP385 presage JDM? The more I see,the more I like it. Think I saw it in this thread before.

This model is for the Japan market. You won't be able to buy it from any retaile in Singapore. Perhaps you could try ebay?

taobao have. need to use a 3rd party forwarder to ship to singapore from china. they have official AD china SRP385J1 which surprisingly comes with english and chinese day, instead of english and roman day.

Try the main seiko boutiques at JEM or vivo, i saw some JDM models there before.... but they sell at std retail price....
