I say buy a watch that speaks to you, regardless of how many there may be around.

At the end of the day, unless the watch you have is the only one made, you are bound to bump into someone wearing the same model. Might even be a good conversation starter.

I prefer to look at commonalities.

agree but i think its harder than it seems for most because there is this struggle between introversion and extroversion tendencies, as this hobby tends to amplify both aspects of one's decision making.
