however if its 48mm wide and 19mm tall then i think seiko made it a tad too big for a normal production watch.

I don't think those rich sheiks sell their unwanted watches, they'll just keep it. Too much money anyways.

i think the appeal with that orient diver has got to do with the deliberate upside down dial configuration e.g. window at 9 o'clock, brand at 6.

5-10% cheaper than norm. Good price indeed

Thats the good thing about straping on a Patek. Go any watch shop ask for any watch to try and they will be eagerly serving you with big (fake) smiles.
