I have a Black Bay. i would honestly say wait... ETA vs in-house maybe doesn't do much for you but i understand price difference is minuscule.

The new Pelagos retail price IIRC only 100-200 dollars more than the current ETA Pelagos, so actual price not much difference.

But, the new movement Pelagos initially sure not much (if any) discount, compared to the ETA Pelagos which is already out for quite some time now.

So might have to wait a bit more for the price to "drop" in that sense.

Yeah, kinda. This is the only watch that attracted me among the Rolexes, Omegas etc. Not that the rest are not nice, but this is really love at first sight for me.

I'll follow up with wrist shots tonight.

Thanks for the heads up on pricing wise. In terms of work horse can I safely say that the ETA version might be more reliable then the new in house as there are current similar movement being used in other watches as well ?

Price for me does not really make a difference if the watch is going to cok itself up after 3 years down the road

William Leong, the managing director of Leong Poh Kee, a regional distributor of luxury timepieces based in Singapore, is said to own the "Apple Watch" trademark in Switzerland, home of the luxury watch business.

The trademark's direct owner is Leonard Timepieces, a Swiss watch company which Swiss media has reported as being owned by "William Longe" - a mis-spelling of William Leong, a source close to Leong Poh Kee indicated.
