hello everyone, i have been following this trend silently over the past few weeks. finally decided to create an account today and join in.

currently interested in slide rule bezel but navitimer is too out of my league, will definitely get it next time but in the meanwhile, any other options for me? I can practice on the bezel at the same time.

The one that immediately came to mind was this. Pricey though, if you can find one.

Edit: Another option - Sinn 903 ST

hopefully someone here is kind enough to recommend me some slide rule bezel watches other than navitimer. quite determined to get it by today.

it just caught on me for the dist-speed-time, currency con., fuel consumption. now im deeply poisoned by it.

Any nice brands to recommend ? Budget 1-2k . Looking for something that is either with steel strap or rubber . Simple elegant design or sophisticated also can

Look at forumer a562140 (yes I had to memorize as you won't know who if I put the usual a-numbers) range of micro brand pieces that he posts quite regularly. Or the Seiko Marine Master,Tuna range I'd say. At your budget you can good quality with these micro brands without paying for the advertisenent costs that the more well known brands like Tissot or even Oris incur. These micro brand pieces can last a life time with regular servicing I am quite sure. And get one with a Sapphire Crystal if possible.

If you upgrade in future these will serve as excellent beaters.

edit : oops looks like you posted you got 2 Tag Heuers. Pics please!!

With the Apple Watch being sold this year, will people be more conscious on what's on people's wrists? Will watches become more a fashion statement?

As a watch lover I think its good news. :)
