Speaking of straps... I'm really itching for a Ted Su ammo strap! But... but... my allowance and pocket

Hmm... I haven't tried one from Ted Su because of the following reason:

But, just speaking my mind, is that how u know if it is a REAL vintage ammo strap from whatever World War it comes from? And if it came from a vintage ammo pouch, are you able to tell how a 50-60 year old leather strap feels/looks like?

Maybe it is through the tons of good feedback from others who bought from him that validates his straps? I don't know...

Oh, and the pricing is definitely not kind to the wallet.

I get what you're trying to say.. you're right. Apparently, from what I gather on the net, Ted Su ammo straps are among the top.. although it is sooo costly.

Iirc ABP is creme de la creme and costs a bomb.

if quality is best of the best, i think it's quite worth it. a good leather strap if taken good care can last a long time..

No, I don't have any experience with ABP because the prices are just plain crazy! More expensive that original Pam straps, so I don't see the point of getting them, imo. And more importantly, I am not interested in their designs.

I personally look at unique designs etc, like this: http://nubostraps.com/ amongst others!

actually i went the webby aga aga customise based on my original strap and it cost slightly less than the original rolex strap at SGD 608. so anything around / less than this price i think is reasonable.. maybe i try a piece and post back the result..

Try a piece and let us know what you think about it. Will be good to have more feedback about straps.

Maybe I should go back and do more in-depth reviews of my straps rather than just photos...

just did a customization. cost is 310 euro or SG$500. cheaper than original strap by a good 2pcs of blue notes.

Did My First Strap Change ...

It was much tougher than I thought with conventional straps (I.e. non PAM Straps). Phew .....
