Wow long no see bros and now it's part 7 alr!
Anw I need some advice here. Anyone has recommendations for a set of couple watch? Thinking of getting for my parents, budget maybe up to 300 each? No need for automatic though that is an option, cos they might not like to wind if they dun wear often.
Any thoughts? :)
TIA! :)

IIRC no, USA is not really a good place to buy watches, they do not give as much discount like Asia and no tax refund.

Europe is quite good, if you manage to get good discount with good relationship with the AD.
Thx for info. The tax in USA generally quite high.

Quartz, automatic, hand wind are different movements with merits and downside each.

IMO no technology is more important than the other, But of course automatic and manual winding watches are more highly regarded (and usually more expensive) due to the fact that the construction is more complex.

And there are also other technologies such as spring drive which is a hybrid of auto and quartz technology.

Yup, quartz has it's place in modern timepieces.

The new SBGV009 GS quartz dress watch to ensure you do not go late into meetings

The SBBN015 to ensure you won't be stuck with wrong timings when you dive

Etc etc
