Hey guys where can I punch hole for my leather strap?

Got a laco today, tried it on at the shop and seemed ok so didn't request for more holes.

Got home, tried again and realized it is a bit too loose.

Yea. Initially I had difficulty deciding between the Diver Big Crown and the Oceaner I. I liked the Diver because of its linear power reserve, but in the end chose the Oceaner I instead as I liked the case design and felt that it was a better fit for my wrist. Also, I liked the day@3 and date@6 feature, something different. I had a chat with the owner, Sean and he showed me some of his upcoming releases, looks promising. More shots of the watch:

Round hole can be found easily. the oval one harder to find.

Oh thanks, first thing tmr i'm going to the plaza/neighbourhood watch shop to ask. I just googled and seemed like home fix have leather belt puncher...not sure if it works for watch will check again tmr.

Probably in the 340-360 range if I'm not wrong? I've not been to the boutiques in Singapore so I'm not familiar with the price. This was bought overseas.

Hey guys,

As you know I bought an automatic laco with miyota movement as an "entry" lvl watch which looks pretty good too.

I read the tiny manual...it didn't say how many times i should wind.

The guy told me wind 10-15 times is enough and just wear it and it will run.
He also told me that although there is an over winding protection, it is still not good to wind till the state when the protection kicks in. I've also forgotten what he told me I should expect when it is wind to the max...I think there will be a "ticking" sound when it is at its max.

However I want to experiment and QC the watch myself on the "max" number of wind i need to maintain the 40+ hours reserved "power". Basically just wind and put it back in the box and and 1 day + later it should still be running. Even if the time is +- few seconds.


Any idea? Should I expect a noticeable difference when I wind it too much? If there is resistance then how great will the resistance be? Scare later turn till the crown break
