Just got a fine stain/scratch on the glass of my Tissot Visodate. It's a bit more obvious than the photo makes it out to be.

Anyone has any idea on how to remove it? Saw an article below that mentions the use of Diamond Paste so was wondering if it can be purchased locally or needs to be ordered online.

wind delicately you should feel a point where the spring is fully wound up and it starts racheting. if you do it gently/normally the over-wind protection mechanism will do its part, just don't force rush the winding.

Thanks. I wind it like 20+ times. Last about 20 or 22 hours. I guess qc pass. I don't think I will fully test the 40+ hours reserve time thing. Just gotta trust laco on that.

alternative is to get a protector for your watch glass from ebay. This is how it looks on my daytona.

front view: cannot even see the protector even its there.

45 degree view: can see the edge of the protector if u examine closely.

side view: can see the protector clearly. its approx 0,2mm in thickness.

this is made of rubbery material (3M clear sticker) sticker. different from the screen protector we paste on our phone. therefore to apply this on your watch is much more difficult because once the sticker sticks to the glass or if there is dust underneath the protector, u cannot just lift off and readjust or remove dust.

good thing is if u done it correctly and carefully, the result would be very satisfying. due to the material, itself is scratch proof and can absord shock to a degree if impacted

Wa, you have steady hands... I don't think i can do it...
Anyway for plexiglass it can be easily polished, I guess it's more for sapphire glass
