omega's ceramic case different from the others e.g. pam and iwc ?

They promote their Zirconium Oxide (ZrO2) a lot. Back of case. and also lightweight.

Honestly, I'm not sure of PAM or IWC material. But I guess it will be pricier for them also. Just a gauge, the Panerai 524 or IWC Portuguese Chronograph Classic would be priced nearer to this Omega Dark Side of the Moon but these are non-Ceramic models.

hooting both would mean i transit from grass-eating to eating something a degree worse than grass. :s13::s13:

I agree, I prefer gsotm to dsotm but I think this apollo limited edt triumphs the both of them. :D
Let me suggest, k3vlar hoot gsotm, Thai rak Thai (ktbffh) hoot dsotm and pwillie kor kor hoot that limited edition.

Problem solved.

What you guys think of the Zeitwinkel 42.5mm classic? What I like is that it has an in-house movement and not many people know about his brand.

To quote one of the founders:
"True luxury for me is when you buy a product that means something to you personally, regardless of its effect on other people. Evolving to "mature luxury” requires some courage and a lot of confidence because you will have to decide against the herd instinct."

Not bad. Has the same complications as the Lange 1 and Glashutte Panoreserve but different arrangements. Those have gorgeous display backs too. Have to compare price range and finish.

If I'm the founder of an emerging brand Id say the same thing but not officially as its very defensive statement, so to me I wont put much weight to it.

Been eyeing this for some time.... :o

I got this as a homage to my late father. He too, got an Explorer 2 in the 80s as his first "serious" watch. His explorer 2 is now kept like a heirloom haha. :)

But have to say the new Explorer 2 42mm really feels much more solid than the old one! Even the more recent 16570 pales in comparison
