Pwillie - how much would you be willing to pay for one of these? Not that I'm buying this one, but I'd appreciate views from someone who's been doing vintage for much longer than I have - to yknow, check if my price estimates are on somewhat on the mark.

If not convenient to mention here, I can pm you.

I only started my vintage binge not too long ago as well..
For me, between 2-3k for this, prob more towards 2k due to the condition.
I got my banana for ard 2.7k iirc
Anyway, don't see the vintages coming down in prices... Even watchco prices went crazy recently
Just have to add.. Also depends how badly you wanted one of these la :D

Edit: now that I look closely... The condition is quite good... Hmmm can go to 3k

Thanks man, appreciate it. 2.7 for yours is imo a great deal. 3 felt about right to me as well for this one, but doesn't matter because I have other (Omega) commitments already. Cheers!

I actually quite like the look of both watches. The MM300 is quite similar aesthetically to the Sub but cheaper, whereas the MM600 has spring drive but is about 1K+ more and looks like a beast.

I have a 6.5 inch wrist, so I was hoping to get some idea of how big the MM600 would look.

Reviews say it wears smaller than it's 50mm size.

not sure if this helps:

i feel that the MM600 belongs to that group that is "top heavy". sorry to say this but you can't get a real feel until you have it sized and fitted properly to your wrist, and a bracelet trumps rubber for overall balance... meaning you are unlikely to get a good feel at the AD unless they resize it specifically for your wrist.

from my experience, the higher the profile the tighter the watch should be. weight is not the real issue as the body adapts after a while, however the tightness of the bracelet may be for some.

my advice to you for the mm600 if you are interested but uncertain is to buy used ... if you like it sell it away and buy new!

seahumgmt.gif

i always tell myself to try this on my triple date every new year's eve (to see the date/day/month change) but keep failing because i get too caught up in the festivities :s8:

best i've accomplished so far is a simple gif of an el primero striking tenth.

hi guys, I'm thinking if it's possible to switch the 12 o clock end links with the 6 o clock end links (along with all the fixed links,) on my black bay. theoretically it's possible right? reverse the bracelet, then reverse the clasp...?

haha, i've got an ugly ding on my 6 oclock end link. thinking to put it on the other side so i can't see it, LOL.
