This got me thinking of perhaps commemorating the occasion. I would like to know what you guys think will be a nice timepiece to get that is under a budget of 12k. Thanks.

Read on wiki the French company makes watches in-house, was sold to Seiko and recently went back to French hands. Worth getting it bacm to life. Quite a history imo.

Thinking of getting a black dial watch next to complete a trio. Shld i go VC or complete the GG tributes and get an IWC Ingeniur?

VC Dual Time but they all belong to the same genre. I'd diversify for wardrobe sake.

LOL. The cyclops man. The thought of selling it to fund a SeaDweller did cross my mind though, but only very briefly.

I am a fan of uncluttered looking dials.

its out of production now and all in the hands of collectors. the complete set was a triplet of white, blue and black and pop up in the local watch forums from time to time. the white has a red "12" and probably the most collectible:

Yeah, thats why I am interested in getting some preventive maintenance. I don't mind paying a bit for the servicing, but I paid 10 bucks for the watch (the strap cost more than the watch itself), so I'm looking for someone economical.
