After looking around for months, with budgets swinging from 100+ (Seiko) to 3000+ (FC), from quartz to mechanicals, my wife finally settled for a Tissot Lady Heart Powermatic 80. So is it my turn to look for one now?

Aren't jlc watches way above my budget?

Would Panerais work as dress watches? The PAM 000 looks nice and clean.

I think pam or sub all works great as tool or dress watches. You can try a pam and see if it sings to you but please try as many as possible (especially the 47mm, don't just think that it's too big or what. Just try) I personally find the radiomir very dressy as well

The Pam 510 or 560 might work for you if your are considering the 000, 111 or 112 ( i miss my 112 :( )

Gotta find some time to go an AD one of these days to look see.

I agree that never try on, will never know.
