Thank you.. It's actually a gift to commemorate my brother's wedding, so this piece means quite a lot to me (sentimental perhaps? Haha). :)

So good. Nice watch anyway. Probably gonna take me 10 years to buy one.

Easy return policy can backfire with some people too - like me. I'd prefer to receive a brand new, unworn piece. That's why I'll never buy a mattress from Ikea - they offer free returns! And I'm pretty sure they clean up those returned mattresses and send them on to the next buyer. They can't possibly be ditching those mattresses.

Anyway you folks have allayed some of my concerns. Now I just need some ideas on how and where to find the GBP995 .... maybe after tomorrow night ....:)

Unworn items? Go THG or what most of the time watches not a whole lot of stock. Display piece tried by so many ppl, also still sold as new.
Especially ppl getting pammy or zenith often times they only have 1 pc

With such brands if strap is worn it's replaced, otherwise they let it go on scratch and dent sale for extra 30% off.

I got the CW jumping hour because I wanted something different, without paying too much. Some variety is nice...
Glad to hear servicing shouldn't be too much of a issue - do you think local watch repair shops can do it?

Local place like jw watch can do it easily
