Time stood still in this part of the world today at 3.18am.

LOL i bet marketing guys took over the naming of this new breitling worldtimer - the "galactic unitime".

70hrs power reserve in house movement - looks like the norm now for 3-days power reserve.

less flashy than regular breitlings, but i like!

RIP founding father of our modern nation.

Anyway... As you can see, my bezel is scratched.

I saw an old man struggling with carrying drinks onto his trolley so went to help and nicked my watch on the handle bars of his push trolley

Any chance it can be polished off? Super Argh moment!

Bring it to ION boutique. They can sort it out for you, probably take 2 weeks, a few days if you insist it's urgent.

They quoted me $160 for a small ding on my 112 bezel, not sure about yours, best to check with them.

But after polishing will still pick up scratches here and then. Best to accept and live with it.

Didn't manage to squeeze in a watch shot, but wrote up something after some chit chat with my sister on political affairs:

Mix Of Colours (As A Singaporean)

I think the worst thing was some of the people just making very rude/snarky comments after the news broke. For all the misgivings they have about the country, lets not forget that any country's Chapter 1 was also challenging, and that really when someone passes on, some things should just be laid to rest.

I think its polish-able. Depends if you want to get Panerai to do it or 3rd party which can be easily 50-60% of the official cost.

Might want to live with it first and polish more scratches all at once instead of sending it to polish for 1 scratch...
