sucks, makes me regret helping the uncle a little... :(

Hey bro, dun say that... U did a gd thing... U lend a helping hand to an old uncle instd of being oblivious to him. No kind deed is too small n the little scratch bears testimony to it. Every watch and scratch tells a story tat will alws be close to yr heart. :s8:

Eh at least your scratch was while helping someone. My 1st was while being a bumbling idiot fiddling with it, putting it on and off and it flipped against my belt buckle. Pain la but gotten over it. Welcome to the club. Yato and mine all got nicks. Scratches on bare metal bezel whether steel gold or titanium all will show up one. Last week met an Ang Moh at meeting...his daytona was very banged up. Thats a manly man in my view. We just wear em and not pamper them.

I put a dent on my Milgauss case cos I fell down while on the way to buy breakfast. Now that's a stupid reason.

Bezel can be replaced... But case :'(

Hi guys, I recently got a 20 year old rolex. I am pretty sure all the lubrication inside is dried up or solidified. I want to get some simple servicing done, basically just applying new lubricants. Would it be advisable to go to the official servicing centre, or to go to other watch repair shops? Would the watch repair shops swap out my parts without my knowledge? Or would the quality of the lubricants be similar?

Hi guys, is there anything like this but with automatic movement for seiko watches

P.S any pros here can recommend me a seiko under 250, with or w/o discount but with a chronograph and titanium-like colour :D Thanks! :)

LOL i bet marketing guys took over the naming of this new breitling worldtimer - the "galactic unitime".

Breitling-Galactic-Unitime-SleekT_Black-Dial_Angle_560.jpg

70hrs power reserve in house movement - looks like the norm now for 3-days power reserve.

less flashy than regular breitlings, but i like!

SG List price of $12000+

Better I look at other watches... :s8:

Oris 111 - I'm so getting this, can't wait for its release in Oct 15. I was lusting after the 110 years limited edition, but it was sold out everywhere. Lucky for me as the new caliber 111 has an additional date function.

丞相祠堂何处寻?锦官城外柏森森。
映阶碧草自春色,隔叶黄鹂空好音。
三顾频烦天下计,两朝开济老臣心。
出师未捷身先死,长使英雄泪满襟!

I guess only this poem about Zhu ge Liang is able to represent Mr. LKY'S dedication to Singapore
