it's actually a poem written by famous poet Du-pu of the Tang dynasty to mourn the great Zhuge Liang of the three kingdoms era, as he visits his shrine.

Where does one find the shrine of the prime minister? In the dense forest outside of Jin Guan city

the many wonderful colours and nice melodies by the birds make up the surroundings

the three visits to his hut (Liu bei visited Zhuge liang 3 times to finally successfully recruits him) and talks about the division of the country (Zhuge liang gifted Liu Bei with the plan of tri-division of the world), and helped with both rulers to build the empire (both liu bei and then his son)

The campaign started but the body died before it was successful, this sad story makes many heroes in history wet their sleeves with tears


the last two lines are very famous; usually to describe a very respectable and capable figure who passed on before victory is attained. Just feel that LKY is quite the capable officer like the legendary Zhuge liang; and also reports of the many world leaders mourning his passing.

I do think that LKY did attain most of what he sought to accomplish. Unlike poor Zhuge Liang. Luckily, I don't think there is a Sima Yi to challenge LKY in the 60s/70s Or even a Lu Xun for that matter.

Anyway... As you can see, my bezel is scratched.

I saw an old man struggling with carrying drinks onto his trolley so went to help and nicked my watch on the handle bars of his push trolley

Any chance it can be polished off? Super Argh moment!

It can be polished if you send it in for light polishing at Panerai in ION Orchard. But I don't think it's worth it (now). My 312 bezel has many scratches here and there too. Am thinking of changing the bezel rather than polish it.. But then again, the scratches on it makes the watch mine... So I'm still hesitant.

IMHO, LKY is more 曹操 than 諸葛亮。Just that many movies and computer games like to portray 曹操 as a villian in 三國時代。

Seiya sends by EMS. Thus if u "lucky" parcle is sampled by custom, u will recieve a notification to goto Singpost HQ at Paya Lebar to pay GST and collect. If u are "umlucky", u will recieve it from the postman without having to pay GST.

Those send by DHL/Fedex, confirm u need to pay GST when the courier delivers to you, plus a $20 admin fee!

well its a worldtimer complication and an in house one, and they tout a special one button mechanism for convenience. plus they throw in a tungsten carbide bezel for good measure.

i guess what you are saying is that "its only a Breitling", but you know that if Rolex did this it wouldn't anything near $12K
