the difference of course being that you could sell your fff and still not afford that dot-over-ninety bezel ;)

anyway i don't think any matured watch collectors would take offence to their peculiar fascinations. not that i'm calling arctuates "matured" :)

Har har har.. fine fine.

Now I need to buy a bezel for the FFF.

Instead of doing my readings - I am taking pics...

Hey guys,

noob watch collector here :) Recently my friend is recommending me to keep an eye lookout for DLC coated watches. DLC like will give the case a darker shade of black and tougher than PVD coating watches.

but there's like very little watches out there that are DLC case and very ex also :(

Anyone here owns a DLC watch? Can share your experience with it? :s13::s13:

Thanks for the recommendation! But i thought dlc is tougher, still have to take extra care of it?

Well, personally I don't own a DLC watch.. but (correct me if I'm wrong), as long as its a coating.. Any hard knock would be able to scrap off the surface.. So yea..

DLC supposedly > PVD and most other coating technologies.

Whole day on the road. Meetings in different cities. Had an unexpected hoot in a small town yesterday, will take some pics later.
