Hi guys,

So I'm seriously considering getting a Deepsea from SWX.

However, knowing that there will be a risk of buying a fake.

How to I tell a fake right from the start?

Saving me the hassle and money to have it authenticated?

Thanks!

Deal at RSC and get it authenticated for $107.

Unless you've been trawling the rep forums diligently I don't recommend using your "eye power" to authenticate a 5 figure watch, much less one with a close caseback.

Personally, I wouldn't go for that cos it looks like some power ranger wrist toy. I'm sure there's plenty of other beautiful complications out there for you to choose from....

Nice Urwerk. And congratz on your Zeitwerk. Wish I have your spending power lol.

Why not consider HYT?

Totally out of this world with their fluid/piston usage to tell time.

Considering this. The next piece, the missus has to be able to wear. But the black dial Langematik is appealing.

I'll get an AP steel for her anyway first.

Yea, but the movement is something that I don't think I'd really appreciate. You have the Devon thread 1 for that or Ressence Type 1s which are cheaper.

Buy from reputable dealers or grey sellers.
From what I read, Rolex service center takes more than day to authenticate
