Seriously how much is your invetory as a percentage of your annual income(include typical bonus)? Very interested to know how wide the spread is... mine around 12%... I dun buy sell buy sell, so figure quite stable.

Hope you guys can share share a bit if not too sensitive.

Edit: Come to think of it 12% is quite a bad thought. It's as though I work 1.5 months for nothing but a few watches....

I guess that's what differentiates the WIS from the regular buyer. For the many of us who dun earn a million a year, to dump a large portion of income to a hobby is pretty much beyond rationality.

Personally, I think the figure is not important. Some spend 50-90% of their salaries on their interest / hobby? Morally may not sound right but as long as not via illicit means - I think it is acceptable

You also have to factor some very fortunate ones get them as gifts!

cannot be too stingy, especially on yourself (beside fulfilling other important commitments)

haha look over at the hardware clinic. people buy computer stuff like free and its not cheap.
plus no resell value. after one year, means gg. but they just keep buying, why because they can and they like it. ownself song.
