End of the day, people here want to save $200, If you want want to save $100 for all the effort. Why wait when you could be already enjoying the watch already.

Reason why there is even a discussion about this is people come here to ask whats the price for this compared to Japan. Unless you are going there for holiday and it happens the Yen is so damn weak than just buy why care ? :s8:

I understand the part where people want to compare if there are savings now... bcos GX is there now to validate the price
But I don't understand about your advice that sbdx001 will go below 1.8k in future, based on x017 supply and yen exchange rate
How to predict that when currency fluctuates and BNIB 001 stocks are already disappearing off the shelf
On top of that, if I want to get a <1.8k BNIB x001 in future I still need to conincide it with a trip to Japan with both factors above in place

Let me explain clearer
- When I said BNIB MM300, I mean 017 as 1 year from now unless some stores keeping the 001 away chances of getting a BNIB by than would be hard.
- As for getting MM300 1 year from now at 1.8K or below chances are high as the Yen is getting weaker due to (negative interests rate by BOJ) Not much predicting required unless SGD is weak against Yen
-Why 1.8K or so is possible ? because when SGD1=Yen90, BNIB for MM300 001 was at 1.8K or so and back than (6-7 mth ago), no sign of MM300 017. No know knew what the specs were ? MM300 017 is to replace MM300 001 so you get the point ?

Also to add, unless you are making a trip to Japan when the yen is weak, just buy here and enjoy because one can be unlucky when a custom officer stop you at airport and you kana tax+fine so end up more expensive than buying in SGD :D

001 sure below 1.8K 017 would be hanging around 1.9K after the mass supply and the low yen.

You just remember what I said next year you look back sure :s13:

That I also cannot believe when I saw the BNIB MM300 001 below 1.8K in Japan

Lol next year. Too Long la. Maybe xuan87 can wait. Lol
Later yen go up 60-70 range I lol

I saw this at big time when I bought my sun moon. This is the older version, the newer version I bought at below 500, has deployant clasp
No lah, this is the newer version but different variant. Blue and rose gold dial with date on the right side together with 65 anniversary version. I believe your is date on left side. All the newer versions with deployant.

001 already Long off the shelves. I comb all the bic and yodobashi in Osaka Kyoto Sapporo and Tokyo.
001 Bnib won't be even available haha

Now is a good time to buy cause I am there. Giving info on price and if anyone want can help bring back.
Some cash would be good for the effort haha not legit a cup of coffee haha

But future wise. I doubt can see less than 2k unless yen drop till 100 or near the 90 mark.
And 2.5 k now is without text + 5% off
The rrp is 270,000
Those chain store alr give discount till 216,000

But pwillie is right haha want buy don't wait. Need wait 1 year to speculate the drop haha hard to tank with all the poison here haha

I did a quick count. Even if yen drop to 90 and say the price no change. It will be around 2.2k haha
Unless sbdx017 drop price itself next year then maybe can say below 2k but hard la.
Those can wait jiu wait. Haha plus must fly to Japan la haha

haha yupx, tisell sub is the " best" rolex sub homage at its price point at less than 300 SGD IMO! :o:s12::s12:
3% the cost of a real one.

Downside is must order from Korea.

Hey bro, thanks for pointing out the objective of this thread ;)

My lao kok kok 1680 kept time since 1979..
Some friends commended how well she maintained her body while others commented on her uneven patina and the little dimples on her face...

I understand everyone sees beauty differently but is being rare a crime?

However hurt, I think she would oblidge a selfie on the 29th

Sorry for the delayed post.. i remembered to take a pic on 29th but photobucket wasnt working for me...

Anyway.. here's a pic on the "open 9".. a characteristic of the original silver date disc of a late 1970s 1680.

Enjoy your weekend bros!

1.5K is a damn steal at current market rate and currency level. But I guess the watch is either you love it or hate it so you prob deciding for a while before you hoot :o
