How much u bought? Im looking for a grand seiko quartz now.

Chino/seiya sells sbgx059 at s$2400 (around there, depends on fx). Shaggy brings in at s$2600.
Good choice on a GS Quartz. Took me a long time to convince myself to a GS, and subsequently to a Quartz

Much as I understand it's personal but a Tag over a GS? What's the thought behind it?

Well it's just I didn't fancy gs that much . Been trying to sell the gs for a long time. First major watch bought was the gs which was sort of a mistake. At that time was thinking of hooting Rolex but didn't want to spend so much. So bought the gs thinking it could substitute as a Rolex. Boy how wrong I was. If there is one thing learnt, is get the watch you really want and not buy something else in the hope that it will satisfy your cravings. Seems like my preference is towards sports watches that are not too big and heavy. Thickness and lug to lug length matter a lot. Cue the Rolex explorer which fits the bill perfectly. Went jogging with the explorer a few times and I don't feel the weight that much. Most of other watches bought and sold off were either too heavy or uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time ( lug to lug too long)2 black bays blue/black, one north flag, one seiko blumo. You could say it's like being confused without knowing what you really wanted until many trial and errors. ( this hobby is just too poisonous with so many watch options)

Shame. Which GS model was that?

Hahaha ok bro. Key learning maybe is to think Long and hard before any purchase. I have a tag aquaracer as well. Still with me after 10 over years.

GS is incredible and I am sure there are better stuffs then GS but at what price? I think in a lot of way, GS owned many other brand.

After I bought 1, I tried to sell it to to see or test market. I decided not to after listing it for a few weeks. It simply grew more and more or me :)

Congrats and enjoy the TH!

Used the monies from off loading grand seiko to buy a tag which some change to spare.

Like this new aquaracer ceramic bezel version. Chose the nylon strap version cos i find the bracelet chunky and it doesnt taper at all.

Cyclops is a welcome addition and the yellow second hand indicator.
Bezel turns very easily with minimum effort required.

My tag says hi:)
