i checked out HK forum
seems likes standard 15% discount,
might get up to 20%
generally 20k HKD range.

Tangente series cheapest, manual wind, 35-37mm-ish
Tangmat series are autmatic, ~38mm-ish
above 2 r basic design, entry models

I'm looking at Metro series, ~38mm-ish
probably ~3k SGD at least, out of my budget, aming at ~2k SGD piece.

metro neomatik ~4.7k after 15% discount. movement is sex, but size is a cockblock. check out ludwig neomatik. I personally would not to for date series.

Is seiko astron series popular? Don't seem to find much reviews

Sent from phone using GAGT

forgive me if i'm wrong, but i read that Astron was the first to utilise Seiko's homegrown quartz crystal before they used it for Grand Seiko?

anyway, i think Astron is quite classy and can last you for a while too :) maybe just that in SG quite hard to find in stores :s34:

Seanie interested in Grand seiko? Wanna buy mine? Limited edition, SBGR097G. Mint condition. Selling to fund for Grand Seiko Quartz. :)

Soory. Looking for a GS spring drive actually. Went to see a number of watches i've shortlisted recently, including new 43mm aquaracer,JLC master control & GS. GS spring drive stands out as my fav. Checked out the price abt $8500. Must wait for boss to message me. Duno got stock or not.

Am considering either these 2.. But do they look too messy?

The 2nd design was in my wish list when I was looking for a gps watch. Went to Seiko at Vivo and the price was around 3k to 4k, can't remember the exact price.

In the end, bought the g-shock MTG-G1000 with discount instead; cheaper with shock protection but less dressier compared to the Seiko.

Hi all, I'll be heading to Japan in June, anyone knows where would be a good place for me to pick up a couple of seikos that are unique to the Japanese market? Would the marine master and the grand seiko be the only ones I should consider or I should skip both and just look for a vintage? Thanks!
