Rocking the new piece since I got it a few days back. On leave today to run errands.

To those who kept saying Tudor is a poor man's Rolex, living in shadows and etc.

Please go read up more. It has in recent years stepped out of its shadow and has cultivated its own heritage. Don't believe you go ask your friends working in those ADs.

Different market IMHO

"Cultivated its own heritage" is a nice way to describe slick marketing.

Credit to Rolex on this successful campaign and capturing the market of anti-Rolex folks or closet Rolex fans who cannot discard the rolex = uncle perception, who now have a legit alternative that they can proudly wear and not feel like it's a poor man's Rolex.

10 with 1 blank file.

5 divers (Aquatimer Poseidon, Submariner SKX, Radiomir Italian Diver, Blue Bay SNZH, Shrouded Monster), 3 dress (Tissot Visodate, Rodina Bauhaus, Seagull Skeleton M182SK) and 1 moonwatch (Bulova)

Pretty much cover all bases and classics with limited funding.. :s13:

What do you recommend next?

How about a pilot?

They do have a line of nice watches just that it was overshadowed by the marketing of rolex in the past. And often controlled by rolex. However the pieces which are overshadowed are picking up. Their vintages are going at sky high price.

And they're banking on their old heritage to product a modern version of their old designs.
Which is what everyone is doing actually. Reissues and stuff.

I thought you said bracelet no stock ?

Imo no such thing as cheaper maintenance... only the durability of the watch/movement.

Bro, no stock for bracelet at cortina but i manage found it at another place. Last piece knn. My indecision is due to eta movement. If i want it must grab before somebody took it.

Hi kiosai,

Impressive collection you have there. I recently got interested in Bulova's UHF quartz movement. Starting from their Military follow by the Moon watch. Waiting for an opportunity to snag both if the price is right.

Also, read your review on WUS. thanks for highlighting that part whereby it is not advisable to mount a leather strap on the strap version.

Looking forward to add Bulova into my collection.

Ok u go jb buy dont snatch from me. JB maybe cheong one. I took many years to find my luxury watch. Not sure can be called luxury or not. Anyway wear on hand looks like tudor dont have rolex shadows. But 41mm slightly smaller. 42mm might be better on my wrist. Yes brand new with the plastic covering $4680. Trying to get 20% discount but dont think can succeed.

Quote for future reference and in before:

1. Decision made not to hoot
2. More questions leading to nowhere
