Any generic 24mm or 26mm NATO/ZULU should fit most Luminor or Radiomir respectively..

Pictured here is a generic fabric 24mm NATO on my sterile Raddy.

Widely available from most online shopping portals like Qoo10, Taobao, EBay etc..

I heard it is pretty good (Tisell too) but I find the Squale logo more intrusive than Steinhart's logo on the watch face. I believe the quality of parts on Steinhart is considerably above that of Squale and Tisell but I don't own any so I can't compare.

My personal opinion though.

Same here.. Just cant accept the Squale logo somehow thought i heard the quality is good or even better than steinhart.. Hmmm..

Alternative view:

Squale's logo looks great in a retro sense. Its also a brand with real history, so its credible.

watchwise it was one of the pioneers of diving watches so its also in a class of its own. so respect there. even more respect hanging on to that logo

i own many watches but not the brands here in this mini discussion. since they are all here I thought I might as well offer a second opinion, especially for the neutrals who may be reading and learning:

• I don't want to sound like a snob but Tisell gets no love for me for being to much of a copy watch. I know that they have some creative designs but for the most part they seem to just copy all the standard divers, aviators, classics - which puts them as the same class as Parnis for me (China OEM conglomerate). That logo screams no pride in their brand too. >> Aside from design top marks on value and quality (esp with Miyota movement).
  
• Steinhart gets respect from me for their aviators, but not for their divers - a tad too heavy emphasis on rolex copies for a company that i thought should have taken the opportunity to progress e.g. customized movements, instead of regressing to standard copy watches.
  >> Top marks for value and quality - up a few notches from Tisell, especially their aviators, and very early foray into case finishings.
  
• Chr Ward is a pretty original watchmaker - value, original design, quality - but that logo - it looks like someone just typed it out on a PC. Otherwise no bone to pick with them .

before someone gets offended, thats just ME expressing what I like and don't like. I don't get offended about what other people buy or wear.

Have u counted how many dive watches from how many different brands you own? Curious to know

Yes 2 new releases, a bronze 43mm black bay and a "dark pvd" 41mm black bay. Don't see much info on the dark pvd version but both should be with in house movement.

Thanks for sharing the article of the Squale. It provides a nice backdrop to the company, especially those who don't know the brand.

With regards to Tisell, i think it is what it is, a brand that's offering value for money homage. I got hold of a Tisell sub just to see if that's the case (letting it go now to enjoy my rollie) and i do largely agree it is. To me, until they change their direction, the brand will largely be, a homage brand to me.

For Steinhart, I do agree that their divers are close homages too but i think they are moving away from that focus. Their Ocean One Titanium 500 is a good example of them shifting away from this homage/copy image. It is also part of the reason i bought it. I do think and hope they continue on that trajectory.

Just my personal 2 cents on these 2 brands which i own a watch from. Cheers!

chanced upon this thread when i was looking for a dress watch...

meanwhile reading/ scrolling thr the pages backwards and noticed that some of you were discussing about the position of the steinhart crown earlier this year. mine is quite upright leh, and i thought steinhart took extra effort to make this happened.
