My late ah gong gave my dad a Seiko quartz back when my dad first started working.
Now the battery had died for quite some time alr(think a few years) n my dad didn't replace it. thus I assume the internals r in a bad shape alr.

I hope to revive the watch n clean up the internals.
anyone knows if I bring it to the Seiko service centre, will it cost me a bomb?
or if shop outside able to restore the Seiko quartz too??

TIA!

Haha...of cos you can request 40mths but expect little to no disc from the ADs cos of the charges by banks.

10k is big buy for ppl like for me. But to ADs... the 40mths are more for their exclusive brands...

banks actually pay full to the AD.
the installment is actually done by the bank. not AD.
so if you use card credit, technically, is already by default have bank charge.
doesn't matter installment or not.

the installment plan is used by the bank to tie you down.

WOS allows 40 months installment. :s13:

I agree gx gor, after swapping your card. Its between you and the bank liao. But what i heard is for 40mths ip, bank charge higher and usually ad may not give as much disc.

Deployant clasp

Hi guys, I need your help with something. I have a Ball watch on a leather strap that I want to change to a deployant clasp. May I know where can I take it to to do this change?

Thank you!

Actually lets say a 50k purchase I have cash but take the 40 month and I put the 50k into some fixed D for 40 months at 2%.

In such cases, make sense to leverage right?

Yes that is right but can you withdraw your 50k stucked in fix d? To earn that 2% still

Put in OCBC 360 account can earn more interest. Can also withdraw the $$$ anytime (of cos you will not earn so much interest the next month).

Disclaimer: I'm not working for OCBC

Don't want to OT... Waiting for my boy to finish his lesson.
